The Global Leadership Academy is held at the newly built and state of the art Brookes Westshore campus which offers first rate living and learning facilities to students from around the world. The Brookes Westshore campus, just 15 minutes from Victoria’s city centre and 35 minutes from Victoria International Airport (YYJ), is ideal location for bringing together young leaders from around the world as it is one of the most well known international IB boarding schools in Canada.

Residence Facilities

The leadership program for youth takes place and takes full advantage of this stunning new campus. Its suburban location provides exciting but safe spaces to play and learn. Each of the modern dorms rooms an ensuite bathroom and only 2-4 students per room. Tuition also includes three meals a day with fresh snacks and drinks. Additional facilities included for participants include on-site laundry services and shared lounge rooms for international participants to gather.

Our staff and facilities are dedicated to the happiness and welfare of our students. Our staff have decades of experience working with young leaders and are passionate about each individual student’s progress and safety while there are with us. Many of the outdoor activities and school facilities revolve around the campus, nearby recreation complex, and surrounding nature. Other facilities include:

The Brookes United Kingdom campus is a seven acre property, framed by the beautiful surroundings of the Suffolk countryside. It is ideally located in a safe, spacious, and rural location, yet near to Bury St Edmunds, a picturesque and historic English town (“The Jewel in the Crown of Suffolk”) with all the modern shops and restaurants as well, and less than 45 minutes to iconic Cambridge and its university.

Residence Facilities

The main boarding house was designed and built to an exceptional standard. Gryphon House boarding facility has 48 rooms that boast a full complement of modern furnishings and fittings as well as en-suite shower and toilet facilities for each room. Rooms sleep approximately 4 students, and each student has their own closet and storage areas. Each floor also features a student lounge where students can get together, including a fridge, snack storage areas, sofas, and tables. Students will also be able to have their clothing professionally laundered off-site on a regular basis at no extra charge.
