David Charron, MBA

David Charron, MBA

Co-Founder and Director of Impact

As a professional educator with 15+ years of youth development experience, David Charron is passionate about supporting youth with the vision and tools to create a better future for themselves and others.  His previous leadership experience included transforming the lives of young adults in New York City serving as the Program Director for a $2.3 million youth career development program. In this role he collaborated on many innovative public/private partnerships to provide young adults with training and career opportunities. Most recently was an Associate Director for career counseling at the University at Buffalo School of Management.  Other leadership roles included: teacher, program coordinator, organizational consultant, outdoors instructor, and professional actor.

David earned his BA in Psychology and Theater from Bates College, as well as his MBA at the University of Buffalo as a WNY Prosperity Scholar concentrating in Management Consulting.

Dr. Graham Brown

Co-Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer

An accomplished educational leader, Dr. Graham Brown is the Co-Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer at Powerful Youth. He is also a professor and Associate Dean of Teaching & Learning at the Gustavson School of Business at the University at Victoria where his expertise is Entrepreneurship. Previously, he taught for 4 years in Singapore as an Assistant Professor at the Singapore Management University. He has since designed and implemented several pioneering online and in-person multi-tiered leadership seminars and tutorials. Graham graduated with his doctorate from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2005.

Anna Burke

Director of Purpose; Global Leadership Academy Director

Anna first joined the Powerful Youth team in 2017 as a Senior Leadership Coach, and now combines her background in communications for social impact organizations and her years of experience working in youth programming as the Director of Purpose (Marketing & Operations) for our leadership programs year-round. Anna has led youth leadership programs in Canada, England, USA, the Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, and Spain for Powerful Youth, and is the Director of Global Leadership Academy Canada.

Anna completed her bachelor’s degree in Communications and Development & Sustainability and post-baccalaureate diploma in Sustainable Community Development at Simon Fraser University. She also participated in a 6-month social entrepreneurship intensive course at the University of Amsterdam. Anna’s previous leadership roles include youth programming coordinator, community events coordinator, educational tour leader, ESL teacher, and social entrepreneurship workshop facilitator.

Bryan Saint-Louis

Global Leadership Academy Director


Bryan Saint-Louis is one of the Global Leadership Academy summer directors as well as a custom workshop facilitator. He is a highly experienced youth development expert who empowers youth wherever he goes. He has extensive experience and expertise in motivational speaking, designing and implementing youth development programs, facilitating workshops and training sessions, and providing one-on-one coaching and mentorship to young people, parents and educators. He aims to establish environments that promote mental health, empowerment and creativity, which leads to youth living their best, authentic lives.
