Summer Leadership Programs for Youth Ages 12 to 18
The Global Leadership Academy is a transformative summer leadership program for youth, helping teens from around the world to gain the confidence, leadership skills, and global perspective they need to lead change within themselves and their community. Using an award-winning experience-based learning approach, youth are actively engaged in learning through games, challenges, activities, discussions, and reflections that will take them out of their comfort zone, help them gain new skills, and learn more about themselves and their unique skills and passions.
Our Canadian summer programs are open to ages 12-18, and are designed to engage local and international students alike, no matter their academic or English level. Hosted on Canada’s beautiful west coast, GLA Canada students will enjoy the incredible natural scenery and a safe, supportive learning environment.
Junior GLA Canada
Using a design thinking approach, youth ages 12-14 take on experiential learning activities and projects in a fun, international environment, with a focus on building creative problem solving skills and emotional intelligence
Senior GLA Canada
Youth ages 15-18 gain leadership experience through exciting and enriching lessons, group challenges, and community service and are supported in planning and presenting their very own changemaking project

Enjoy an extra week of BC’s top tourism activities after GLA, including lots of time enjoying the great outdoors!
Global Leadership Academy UK (BURY ST EDMUNDS, ENGLAND)
Our summer programs in England are held in the beautiful countryside near Cambridge. Open to youth ages 14-18 from around the world, the program combines experiential leadership learning both on and off campus with visits to castles, famous universities, and more!
