Anna Burk: Director of Purpose

Anna first joined the Powerful Youth team in 2017 as a Senior Leadership Coach, and now combines her background in communications and her years of experience working with children and youth as the Director of Purpose (Marketing & Operations) for our leadership programs year-round. She is also the Program Director of Global Leadership Academy Canada.

Anna graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Communications and a minor in Development & Sustainability. After taking part in a 4-month social entrepreneurship training program, Anna developed a passion for social entrepreneurship that has endured to this day. She moved to India to work for a non-profit organization teaching social entrepreneurship and leadership skills to college students from across the country. Anna loves combining her passions for leadership, youth empowerment, and social entrepreneurship with her background in communications & youth programming in her work with Powerful Youth. She is now based in the Netherlands.
